Trajectory ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website at trajectory.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our financial simulator, calculators, blog, and related services.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google via AWS Cognito. We use this solely to authenticate your account and associate your saved scenarios.

Financial Scenario Data

If you create and save financial scenarios (available to Pro users), your scenario data is stored in our database (AWS DynamoDB). This data includes the inputs you provide such as income, expenses, savings rates, and loan details. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

Payment Information

Payments for the Pro plan ($9.99 lifetime or $1.99/month) are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status.

Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, time spent, device type, and general location (country/region). This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising Data

Free users may see ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies to display relevant ads based on your browsing activity. Pro users enjoy an ad-free experience. You can manage your ad personalization preferences in your Google Ads Settings.

Your data is stored securely in AWS infrastructure (US East region). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all connections. Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito with industry-standard security practices.

Your account and scenario data are retained as long as you have an active account. Free tier scenarios are stored locally in your browser. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us.
